On Saturday my mom and I invited ourselves up to my sister's house in Hampstead, MD. After I got off work we hopped in the car and drove up there. It's always nice to hang out with them. We were able to witness the most horrific event that little Sophie has experienced yet in her young life- getting her ears pierced. She was being all cute and loving-as usual- and had no idea what was coming to her right up until they started putting the marks on her ears so they knew where to put the holes. It was so traumatic for her. She was fine then all of a sudden some punk Claire's girl and an old Claire's hag punctured her ears with metal rods. How terrible does that soun?! Soph obviously freaked the heck out. It took a few moments but she finally calmed down. I'm sure it shocked the crap out of her. Afterword, when the redness went away, she looked really pretty. Josh was so nice and patient through the whole thing. In the movie he has a bunch of little hair brushes that he picked out for his sister. He is such a sweet kid. The second video brace yourself- it is really sad- its of Sophie getting her ears done.
