On Memorial day my sister and her family came down to spend some time with us. We all got to go to out pool, Parliament pool, where all of us kids have done our time on swim team. It was fun to have Josh and Sophie, my mom, Lindsay and Kris, Jae, and Travis all there. The guys played basketball for a while and us girls hung out with the kids. Cool quote from Josh:
Here's some background info. It was way hot outside. Lindsay or someone had taken Josh's shoes off and put him, standing, on the cement waiting for everyone else to be ready to get in the pool. he goes....
"Hot, Hot, Hot... It's freaking hot!"
Everyone laughed and couldn't decide if he was actually allowed to say that or not. Then Lindsay just said... "Well... it is."
Maybe it was one of those you had to be there moments. Regardless, we had a good time. Sophie especially, since she is geting older, had a good time. They both looked cute in their little suits. I on the other hand...
